As a designer, Madelyn finds inspiration everywhere – her own kitchen redesign was inspired by a favorite pair of earrings! But despite her passion for interiors, this isn’t her first career.

 

After receiving a degree in Psychology, Madelyn got her start in Accounting and Finance for small businesses. While working at a local boutique interior design firm, she realized that while she had a knack for numbers, being surrounded by designers sparked her own creativity and a desire for something different. In 2020, she earned a Certificate in Interior Design from Parsons School of Design and began diving into her own client projects.

 

Today, Madelyn believes that interior design offers her the perfect balance. She loves using her psychology degree to understand how our environment impacts our well being, her math skills to manage project budgets and meticulously plan spaces, and her creativity to bring beauty and function to her clients’ homes.

 

Madelyn grew up in Utah and currently lives in Austin with her husband, tween daughters, and two Great Pyrenees, Maple and Betty.
